Is the ticket included?

If I book a GUIDED TOUR, is the ticket included?
Yes, reservations that include a guided tour generally cover both the guide service and the museum entrance. It is recommended to check the specific details at the time of booking to confirm that both services are included.
If I book an AUDIOGUIDE, is the ticket included?
Not necessarily. The audioguide is an additional service that can be purchased along with the ticket or separately. It is important to ensure that, when booking the audioguide, the corresponding museum ticket is also acquired.
What documentation do I need for access to the museum?
To access the Prado Museum, you must present the corresponding ticket, either in digital or printed format.
Can I use digital tickets?
Yes, the Prado Museum accepts digital tickets. You can show your ticket on your mobile device to the access staff.
Do children need tickets?
Yes, all visitors, regardless of age, need a ticket to enter the museum. However, there are discounted rates for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
Can I modify or cancel my tickets?
Once the reservation request is made, as stated on the website and explicitly accepted during the purchase process (including the final step where the cancellation policy is acknowledged), it is not possible to modify the name, date, or time, nor cancel the tickets. As a result, refunds are not permitted under any circumstances. No exceptions are made for reasons such as COVID, illness, work-related issues, trip cancellations, etc., as defined by the refund and cancellation policy established by the Government of Spain and National Heritage.
- Tickets are non-refundable once purchased unless:
- A service cannot be provided due to the monument's closure. In such cases, the full amount will be refunded automatically using the same payment method.
Can I exercise my right of withdrawal?
No, as outlined in Law 3/2014, dated March 27, amending the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other supplementary laws (approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, November 16). Article 103, regarding exceptions to the right of withdrawal, specifies:

Can I eat inside the museum?
Food and drinks are not allowed in the museum’s exhibition rooms. However, the Prado Museum has a Café Prado where visitors can have breakfast, lunch, or snacks. The Café Prado is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and on Sundays and holidays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Is there a cloakroom service at the museum?
Yes, the Prado Museum offers a free cloakroom service where visitors can leave coats and personal items that cannot be taken into the exhibition rooms. This service is available at all museum entrances, although capacity is limited.
Are visits canceled in case of rain?
No, visits to the Prado Museum are not canceled in case of rain, as it is an indoor venue. The museum remains open according to its regular schedule, regardless of weather conditions.
What happens if the museum closes?
